4. Mr. Enfield, Dr. Jekyll, Mr. Utterson. Dr. Jekyll is becoming seclusive and his sudden disappearance appalls Mr. Enfield and Utterson. Mr. Utterson, the lawyer, is good-natured. We find out that Mr. Enfield is Mr. Utterson's cousin too. They both feel replusion from Hyde.
5. The setting is in the by-street, on their way to the court. Inside the courtyard, it is dark and cool. However, the setting does not seem to have a major impact on the characters' attitudes.
6. He does not appear; but the characters do detest Hyde and had seen him before.
7. We can guess and imply by Jekyll's quick change of heart and attitude that Jekyll could be retaining Hyde inside of him.
